Facebook has filed an amendment to its registration statement with the SEC, which brings it a step closer to its initial public offering (IPO). Facebook has added several underwriters to the deal. Morgan Stanley (lead left), JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs are lead joint book-running managers, and BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays and Allen & Co are co-joint book-running managers. Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, RBC Capital Markets and Wells Fargo have been added as co-managers and a number of smaller firms have been added to the syndicate. In addition, the amendment indicates that Facebook now has in place up to $8 billion under two credit facilities. One credit facility is for up to $5 billion for general corporate purposes and the second is for up to $3 billion for tax withholding relating to restricted stock units.
