Tom Grossi, a Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), has an interesting post on the NEA blog titled "Does Fund Size Matter?" In this post, Mr. Grossi compares the size and performance of funds based on vintage year. Using ThomsonOne data, he finds that "the largest funds have been far more likely than their smaller competitors to become top quartile performers." There's much more in the post, and it's very interesting. Here's the link: http://www.nea.com/blog/2012/10/04/does-fund-size-matter/

Thanks for the citation, Allen. I always find the Campton quarterly IPO reports illuminating so glad I could reciprocate.
